The school is committed to ensuring that our young people acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives now and in the future.
As part of a whole school approach, our PHSE programme (led by Mrs S Bulmer) will be delivered in 5 off timetable Days over the course of the year.
During these day, students will following a completely different timetable which tutors will share with them the week before.
For your information, the collapsed days are Friday 19th October, Monday 26th November, Wednesday 6th February, Friday 5th April and Monday 13th May.
PHSE education develops the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society.
The themes and topics we will cover over the year have been developed using national guidance for PHSE and the Statutory Keeping Children Safe in Education Guidance. Our aim is to support our young people to live healthy, safe, productive, capable, responsible and balanced lives. We want them to be able to learn, make positive, informed career choices and be successful in whatever they do in the future.
The programme will be delivered by school staff, external providers and visitors to the school. If you have any questions or queries then please contact Mrs D Atkin at school (firstname.lastname@example.org).
