Heritage High School, part of The Two Counties Trust offers secondary education to students aged 11-16.  With around 860 students currently on roll (based on September 2019 figures), the school provides an intimate and focused teaching style for all of its students.

We are looking to appoint 3 Parent Governors to join our Local Governing Body.

We are looking for someone with skills within one of the following areas:

  • Knowledge and background within an Educational setting, has knowledge of curriculum, school reports, school process and procedures, Ofsted, previous governor expertise (this is desirable, but not essential)
  • Strategic Leadership qualities
  • Links to community work
  • Social work background

Local Governing Body meetings currently take place on a Monday at approximately 5.30pm, there would be commitment required to attending these meetings, and on occasions some meetings during the school day, for the purpose of governor link visits and panel meetings.   Full training will be provided.

The nomination letter and full details will be sent home to all parent/carers on Monday 25th March 2019, and will also be available on our website.
