Heritage High School Update 29 August 2019

Parent(s)/Carer(s) wishing to contact the school are now able to email using the parent@ email address or contact the school through School Gateway – School Comms. Please note that there are limited school in staff until Tuesday 3 September 2019 and so you may not receive a response until after this date.

The telephone system will be operational from Tuesday 3 September, however due to staff training being undertaken on the new systems it is possible that calls may not be immediately answered; please leave a message for any urgent issues and the relevant member of staff will get back to you as soon as possible.

Parent(s)/Carer(s) who need to report their child absent due to illness will be able to do this in the usual way from Wednesday 4 September 2019.

There have been a number of changes within the school systems due to the IT issues that the school has faced, and we have also had changes relating to staffing, and so can we please respectfully ask that you contact the school by email or telephone in the first instance rather than coming directly into school, as there may not be the relevant member of staff available to see you.

We would like to thank all parent(s)/carer(s) for your patience and understanding whilst we have been working through the IT problems, and would like to re-assure you that all efforts have been undertaken to prevent any problems in the future on this scale.
