If you have mobility issues please advise us prior to your visit so that we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you.
All applications for Heritage High School need to be made through the Derbyshire County Council website using the link below which also includes all guidelines for applying for a secondary school place.
Transition to Heritage High School
During the final two weeks of the summer term Heritage take the Year 6 students into the school for a full two week induction period. All partner primary school students who have chosen to transfer to Heritage will follow their own personal timetable, navigate their way around the school and meet their teachers in preparation for full transition in September. We have found that this has alleviated worries about moving to secondary school and has provided a smooth and swift transition into learning in September and the new term. Prefects and the Year Managers provide invaluable support for the students during this transition period.
Please watch the video link to hear what our students think of our transition process.
